The Yentangou Camp is located in the east of the country (district of Gourma). Namoungou Safari offers a unique experience in african Hunting.

Our concession is 316 sq miles (202240 ac.) large. It home to large numbers of western buffalo, both black and red, lion, roan antelope, harnessed bushbuck, and Defassa waterbuck as well as oribi and the imperial bustard.
Namoungou Safari was started by famed professional hunter, Toufic Hanna, 22 years ago. Many years of conservation efforts, including anti-poaching measure, and the creation of many water holes using solar powered pumps, have resulted in a ever increasing game population.

The camp is an idyllic paradise of greenery, and includes 19 rondavels situated in a circle 50 yards from a central dining area. These have been built in the traditional Burkina way, with a thatch roof and comfortable beds with ensuite flush toilets and showers.The remote location of each rondavel ensures your privacy and relaxation.

The camp is very comfortable environment with a filtered swimming pool, and dining area. Our water supply is otained from a 46 ft deep bore hol, and filtered. You can safety drink it and eat our home grown vegetables and salads washed in clean pure water.
We train and employ the finest trackers, skinners, and professional hunters. Our camp staff of 37 people are experienced and personally selected and trained by Toufic and Eugenie.
